Scilly Ferries’ exclusive logistics partner for freight deliveries to and from the islands is Harland & Wolff Marine Operations – formerly known as Kraken Marine Services (KMS).

KMS was acquired in December 2023 will continue to be run by its founder and highly experienced captain, Julian Northway. Services available include bulk deliveries of perishable goods to market, plant and equipment and chilled food deliveries.

Our aim is to offer a seamless and affordable service that you can rely on for your essential deliveries. The H&W Marine Operations division owns and operates several vessels including the 26m multipurpose landing craft, KMS Terramare, and the 20m fast workboat KMS Valonia, which are both well known within the UK workboat industry for being a very capable vessels and suitable for many different marine projects. Two additional vessels are joining the fleet early in 2024, significantly boosting capacity.

The organisation prides itself on working on a personal level with each client from the initial enquiry right through to project completion and beyond.
